Here's a(nother) connection between Google and LGBT Rights. Staffers at Google have posted their own video contribution to the It Gets Better project. A nice thing to view on Spirit Day 2010!
I thought that this video was extremely inspiring. In light of recent suicides i'm sure that this clip has brought countless people new hope for life. I think that it is also very inspirational to have a major corporation at such a caliber as Google to endorse LGBT rights, it really sets the stage for a lot of companies to do the same. On a less important note, this probably helps the public image of Google a lot as well, but hopefully that is not the primary intention of Google. I also thought it was encouraging to see all the sexual orientations represented and all well-off in life. These videos raise awareness and help struggling adolescents, and i can only hope that they continue to be made.
